My co-worker just appeared at my office door, bearing an entire branch of a banana tree - flush with bananas! I have never seen one of these in real life! It really is one of the coolest things I have seen. It's silly how excited I am...and the eggs.

You know I already checked for them!! Mom knows someone who died from a spider bite from a gift-branch of bananas.

I remember banana bunches on the trees in Guam - and Bobbi's right, be wary of the spiders!

Oh- I forgot to answer. The banana bread switcheroo did go totally unnoticed as I expected- BUT I sliced it and put it out in the kitchen with the icing on the side, and 10 minutes later it was ALL gone. Many people told me it was "to die for" so that made up for the fact that nobody noticed how clever I was (except for me) ha ha.
oooo - aaaaaa - ooooo - the next time I'm in Miami I'll see you guys swinging off trees! LOL
